Shannon is the nearest airport. There are buses (Bus Éireann 51 and X51 [express]). Dublin isn’t too far away (2h30m) and there are very frequent direct buses from Dublin Airport/Dublin to Galway City Centre (gobus.ie and citylink.ie).
