COST-ICT Domain Conference Grant for Early Stage Researchers: 14th Call Now Open.
The COST Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) has introduced a support measure called “Conference Grant for Early Stage Researchers”. The ICT Domain offers 3 supporting grants (max. 3000 Euro each) per year for Early Stage Researchers to participate in an international conference outside of COST Action activities (COST Strategy for Early Stage Researchers, COST 212/07). Applicants whose papers are accepted only for poster sessions are not eligible. Domain Committee’s Executive Group will select the best three applications (all the ICT Actions can participate to the call), according to the following selection criteria
-What is the benefit of the conference for the current research of the ESR?
-How can the conference help to develop the career of the applicant?
-What is the benefit for the COST Action (if any)?
Each COST Action can propose a single candidate ESR for each call: if more than one IC1302 ESRs wants to apply for given call a preselection within the Action is carried out, and the selected application is then forwarded to the COST office as IC1302 candidate for the grant.
Send an email to francesco.guerra@unimore.it by January 31 if you are interested to apply.
