3rd International KEYSTONE Conference
Gdańsk Poland, 11-12 September 2017
Gdańsk is very well connected by all means of transportation. You can arrive by car, bus, train or one of the many flight routes available. The local airport, the Lech Walesa Airport has many regular connections (most of them direct) to many European cities. Many additional routes with one quick stop in Warsaw (Poland capital) operated by LOT Airlines are also available.
Several bus, tram and trolleybus routes connect city's main areas and tourist attractions. The public transportation system runs between 4:30am and 11:30pm. There are also night routes going roughly every hour. Tickets must be purchased beforehand and validated in the ticket-stamping machine upon boarding. The tickets for the tram and bus are interchangeable and can be purchased from the driver, red ticket machines located at some of the stops and in most of the kiosks. There is also SKM railway service going through whole Tricity. The tickets for this line can be purchased from the ticket machines and ticket shops at the railway stations and have to be validated before entering the train. More information about public transport can be found on the ZTM and SKM web pages.
